History

Code: Select all

history 100
Will show you the last 100 commands entered into the Terminal. You choose how many you want to see.

Traceroute

traceroute 8.8.8.8
Will show you all the jumps you requests goes through to get to a the site you request.
You may need to install traceroute.

sudo apt install inetutils-traceroute
Ping

Code: Select all

ping 8.8.8.8
Ping will give you the time a signal takes to get from your computer to a target computer and back to you. The above example goes to the Google servers.
